• Help spread the word about a new NAGT Sponsored Project - Earth Learning Idea.
• Past President Gregory R. Wheeler, California State University Sacramento was elected a GSA Fellow. Wheeler's research focuses on Geoscience education and the geology of California. He teaches Geology and is the director of general education at Cal State Sacramento. His election as fellow reflects his work to improve the awareness of earth sciences in California schools, his service to NAGT, and the roll he has played in advising the CSUS Foundation.
• NAGT Announces New Executive Director: Cathy Manduca from the Science Education Resource Center at Carleton College.
• NAGT Activities at the 2007 GSA Meeting in Denver, CO. There are a number of educational sessions and activities at GSA this year and many are sponsored or co-sponsored by the NAGT. Floow the link for the full list.
