NAGT Program Funds
NAGT has established the following funds that support designated activities and programs of the Association. These funds are used to support current programs and ongoing operations of the Association and can therefore be spent immediately. Income distributions from these funds are not governed by the NAGT Endowment Policy. Contributions to these funds can be made via the secure members services site or by contacting the Executive Director's office.
- Minority Support Fund:
Monies in the fund are used to support Field Camp Scholarships for minority students. For more information, see the program webpage. - Dorothy Lalonde Stout Fund:
This fund, established in 2001 by her daughters, honors Dorothy "Dottie" Lalonde Stout and recognizes her dedication to the improvement of earth science education at every level. Monies from the fund support grants to K-12 and community college instructors attending classes or workshops, professional scientific or science education meetings, and participation in earth science field trips, as well as for the purchase of classroom materials. Monies donated to this fund are used to support the NAGT Field Scholarship Program in the budget year in which the donations are received. For more information, see the program webpage. - NAGT Program Fund:
Monies donated to this fund are used to support NAGT programs and operations in the budget year in which the donations are received.
