Invite new officers
Purpose:
- Present financial report and amend budget as needed
- Report on year's work and plans for upcoming projects
- Announce new officers; terms begin at the end of the GSA meeting
- Finalize committee appointments for upcoming year (liaisons to sections, divisions, & societies)
September Council Meeting (virtual) (1 hr.)
Written annual report
Purpose:
- Prepare for Council mtg. at GSA
- Report on projects for the upcoming year
- Compile roster of potential volunteers for projects & NAGT leadership
Council Meeting (at GSA) (2 hrs.)
Meeting followed by NAGT Annual Business Meeting and Luncheon
Purpose: working together on strategic projects
January/February Executive Committee Meeting (virtual) (2 hrs.)
Purpose:
- Financial report on prior year's closing
- Moving business forward
Spring Mid-Year Executive Committee Meeting (2 days)
Written reports by Ex Comm & comm. chairs
Purpose:
- Propose and approve budget for next fiscal year beginning 9/1
- Assign non-liaison committee memberships for year beginning at the end of GSA
- Announce Executive Committee nominations
April Council Meeting (virtual) (1 hr.)
Purpose:
- Move joint projects forward
- Plan next steps and upcoming projects
June Executive Committee Meeting (virtual) (2 hrs.)
Purpose:
- Approve final budget for following fiscal year
- Announce all award recipients, except OEST
- Moving business forward
