Distinguished Speakers Series

Funding Eligibility Criteria

The goal of NAGT's Distinguished Speakers Series is to inspire participants and elevate Geoscience education at your institution. To be eligible for NAGT funding the requesting institution must be:

• Engaged in geoscience education,
• In a position to benefit from an NAGT Distinguished Speaker visit,
• Able to schedule a mutually acceptable time and appropriate facilities for the speaker's visit.

Requests are approved on a first come first served basis. Only one request for funding per institution per year is approved. Institutions can request multiple speakers per year at their own expense.
