Cooperative Student Activities as Learning Devices

Students who work in cooperative groups with other students are more motivated and successful, especially with regard to reasoning and critical thinking skills than those that do not. Students in mixed groups (different races, genders, learning styles) and have a deeper understanding and remember more than those in homogeneous groups.
