Smart Woman’s Guide to Interviewing and Salary Negotiation
Julie Adair King 1993 Career Press, Inc Hawthorne, NJ

When this book was written, in 1993, women were earning only ¾ of what men earned for doing the same work. While the wage gap continues to narrow, women continue to earn less than men, for the same jobs. This book addresses some of the cultural factors that contribute to differences in earnings, and offers strategies for negotiating higher salaries. While it is written primarily for women, the strategies work for anyone.
