This software tool uses graphical representation to express complex reasoning in "argument trees." It allows users to construct and break down arguments, using a hierarchy of colors and animations to illustrate the structure of reasoning and evaluative judgments. Reason!Able is available for a fee and may be purchased at the site, and there is also a free downloadable trial version. Special rates and resources are available to teachers wishing to use the software in the classroom. The site also provides a link to a set of six online tutorials in argument mapping based on the Reason!Able software. Each tutorial contains theory, examples, a quiz, and exercises with model answers. The tutorials are available for a fee but a free trial is offered at the site.
