This site is part of a step-by-step process which explores the design elements of a web lesson. The aim of this essay is to make teachers aware of the considerations of learning goals that will influence the shape of their course, and to emphasize that the key to developing effective technology-based learning activities is to start with clear goals about desired outcomes. The site also provides a link to an overview of instructional designs and teaching styles and how they guide teachers in planning a course.
