This paper reports the results of a survey of 5000 college students regarding academic dishonesty. Analysis involves many different areas including the setting in which cheating occurs, measures of cheating, value-orientation and cheating, and institutional arrangements to control cheating. Further activities are suggested to explore the effects of various background factors on a student's personal sense of disapproval of cheating.
