This is an on-line book describing the effects of Mono Lake’s changing water level. Developed by the Mono Basin Ecosystem Study Committee and funded through the U.S. Forest Service, it includes surveys in hydrology, climatology, physiography, geology, biology, ecology, and chemistry. It offers a wealth of information about the Mono Basin ecosystem and contributes to the understanding of other hypersaline, closed-basin lakes.
