Session topics, workshops, and field trips

The General Schedule provides a chronological listing of the general Forum program. The Program will be continuously updated as the program evolves and as we add any late-breaking sessions.

Technical sessions

We have identified the following themes, taking advantage of our regional setting: subduction zone geology, convergent and transpressional orogens, magnetic fabrics, deformation of mafic and ultramafic rocks, teaching in the field.

We have identified several topic themes, but also recognize that we have missed some key areas. We welcome your contributions and will adjust the program according to the abstracts that we receive.

The abstract submission and Forum registration deadlines are May 31.

The plenary session organizers may select a small number of abstracts for oral presentations from the abstracts submitted; all other submissions will be presented as posters. [Poster dimensions TBA].

(For participants who require local poster printing, please contact Juliet Crider.  To ensure everything goes well, posters must be submitted well in advance.)
