TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION IN GEOSCIENCE EDUCATION
DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGICAL SCIENCES
CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, FULLERTON

The Department of Geological Sciences at California State University Fullerton http://geology.fullerton.edu/ invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship that will begin August 2015. Area of expertise shall include the study of geoscience education. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an active, externally funded program involving undergraduate and Master's students in the candidate's field of study. The successful candidate must demonstrate interest and ability to teach courses in geoscience education at lower- and upper-division levels. Additional teaching may include introductory-level geosciences and upper-division/graduate courses. The successful candidate shall: (1) coordinate geoscience education courses; (2) help facilitate the integration of teacher preparation into our B.A. program; and (3) be involved in program-level assessment for our department.
