What are the online workshops and who attends?

NAGT's annual online workshops cover topics that are in high demand year after year and are relevant for a wide range of participants. The Mentoring for Student Success workshop focuses on equipping mentors with the tools and insights to support all students in being successful. The Course Design workshop focuses on helping participants use backwards design to generate assessments and instructional activities that meet both content and skills-based objectives.

The workshops a broad audience that includes college and university faculty in the geosciences and beyond, informal educators and education professionals, graduate and undergraduate students, and K-12 educators. Each year, we hold two workshops with 20-50 registrants per workshop.
